Biyane ke baad ke pehle 21 din jaanwar ki zindagi ka sabse naazuk daur hain. Doodh tezi se badhta hai magar bhookh abhi kam hoti hai - jaanwar apne jism ke zakheere jalane lagta hai, jisse ketosis, kamzori aur aainda haml na thehrne ka khatra banta hai. Sahi khurak jaanwar ko bachati hai aur doodh ki choti kholti hai.

Ye zyada energy wali feed energy ki kami aur ketosis se ladne ke liye banayi gayi hai - gud, tel ya daliye ki zaroorat nahi. 21ve din ke baad dheere dheere production ke hisaab se doodh wali feed par jaayein (zyada doodh walon ke liye masalan Goka Amrit). Doodh badhne ke saath feed bhi rule ke hisaab se badhate rahein.
